Spanish Private Tutor

Hola! My name is Natalia! I am from Medellín Colombia and love sharing and teaching my language to those open to have a deeper experience of the Latin American way of life! I am a warm and patient person who's profoundly passionate about connecting with other people and learning from different cultures around the world.

As a private tutor, I help my students improve their Spanish 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 skills so they can communicate with more confidence and USE the language to experience the Hispanic culture in a life changing way!

I strongly believe the doorway to having a more enriching experience of any culture is through its language. That's why, I always recommend that my students ask themselves two things:
1. Why do I want to learn Spanish? Why is it important to me?
2. What level of fluency do I want to achieve?

By doing so you'll open up to a deeper understanding of what learning the language means 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 and how far you want to go with it. At the same time 𝘄𝗲 will be able to identify your specific goals and structure your lesson plan around it.

5 years ago I moved to New Zealand with the main goal of learning English as a second language so I understand what it is like to be bombarded with grammar rules that are hard to remember when you're trying to speak! Keeping that in mind and also the challenge of arriving from a completely different culture, I have designed the lessons for you to *practice and use* the language using real context situations in a safe environment -the class.
