¡Hola! I'm Isabel. I am a friendly person, an enthusiastic teacher and a dedicated foreign language professional with ample experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language in local, international and multicultural contexts.
As a teacher I strive to give students a challenging but supportive experience that helps them to improve their confidence to communicate in Spanish and learn more about the language and the diverse cultures connected to it. To do so, I work with students to identify their learning goals and design lessons to meet their objectives and preferences.

Qualifications
I have a Master degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and over 10 years of teaching experience. I was born and raised in Medellin, Colombia, where I studied at the University of Antioquia. I taught at EAFIT University’s Spanish Program for 4 years and also taught for a year at the University of West Indies, Jamaica. I did my post-graduate studies in Spain and Germany, and have since continued my professional training with various European institutions in the fields of Emotional Intelligence, Social Skills, Online Teaching, LESLLA Instruction, Portuguese language and International Evaluation of the Spanish Language.
